Kaliane Bradley is a British-Cambodian writer. She studied English literature and graduated to a job in publishing. Her short fiction has appeared in literary magazines including Electric Literature, Catapult, Somesuch Stories and The Willowherb Review, and she is the winner of the 2022 Harper's Bazaar Short Story Prize and the 2022 V. S. Pritchett Short Story Prize.

2024 saw the publication of Bradley’s genre-hopping debut novel, The Ministry of Time, which finds a doomed Victorian polar explorer Graham Gore expatriated to contemporary London as a part of a government-led time travel experiment. Skillfully blending historical and science fiction with mystery and fish-out-of-water comedy, The Ministry of Time is also a tale of star-crossed love and an investigation into the nature of truth and power. It was shortlisted for the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize 2024.
